Palace of Memory

“A window into walls, and what they’ve witnessed.
A moment to explore the feelings they give you, and the voice you might give them.”

Illustrations commissioned by Casey Dooley’s Columbia University Oral History Masters Program exhibit: Visit the homes of others through recorded reflections, then step away from your screen to have a conversation with your housemate(s), yourself, and your home. The curator hopes you’ll slow down to connect with your walls and the histories they’ve witnessed, as well as the feelings they give you and the voice you might give them.
